The Eufy X10 Pro Omni is the most compelling mid-range robot vacuum in 2026. For $799 — $200 less than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra — you get 8,000 Pa suction, dual spinning mops, a self-emptying dock that also washes and dries the mop pads, and LiDAR navigation with AI.Map 2.0. In dollar terms, this is excellent value.
AI.Map 2.0 produces accurate floor plans quickly. In our testing, the X10 Pro mapped a typical two-floor home on first run within 35 minutes — comparable to Roborock. Carpet detection and mop-lift were reliable on standard carpets and low-pile rugs. Thick high-pile carpets (Berber, shag) occasionally triggered partial rather than full mop lifts in our tests.
The dual spinning mop design provides wider floor coverage per pass than single-disc models, and the mop-washing cycle adequately cleans the pads for daily maintenance mopping. The cold-water rinse system leaves pads less hygienically clean than the Dreame L30 Ultra's hot-water system, but for daily touch-up mopping rather than deep cleaning, it is sufficient.
Obstacle avoidance is the X10 Pro's primary limitation vs. premium rivals. In our cable and small-item avoidance tests, it contacted obstacles more frequently than Roborock (ReactiveAI 2.0) and iRobot (PrecisionVision). For homes without loose cables or clutter, this matters less. For pet owners concerned about pet waste avoidance, the Roomba j9+ is a safer choice.
The Eufy app has fewer granular scheduling options than Roborock's, but covers the key use cases adequately. For buyers who want premium-class hardware at a genuinely mid-range price, and whose homes don't require best-in-class obstacle avoidance, the X10 Pro Omni is the correct choice.
